| The 2003 edition was the last printed version of the very popular Taste of Scotland Guide - an extremely handy compact book for touring Scotland and one which is still sorely missed by travellers.
As the web developers for the online version we have continued to maintain a directory of selected restaurants, tearooms and other eating placed which we believe offer a true 'taste of scotland' via their menus. Intended as an aid for finding the best eating places in Scotland our listings have been expanded from the original printed version to include new and emerging restaurants plus other sources of Scottish food and cuisine including Scottish Food Producers and Scottish Farmers Markets.
All the Food Products and Farmers Market listings are provided free of charge.
Selected restaurants promoting traditional Scottish cuisine or contemporary cooking showcasing Scottish produce are provided with a frree listing which they can upgrade to an enhanced listing at a nominal charge of between £60-120.
If you have enjoyed a meal at a Scottish restaurant currently not listed - then please contact us with their details and we will try to have them included in our quarterly update.
We hope you find the content of our web site helpful in sourcing Scottish Restaurants, Farmers Markets and Food Products from Scotland.
