Owner's Description : Abstract is an intimate, sophisticated restaurant located in the 400-year-old Glenmoriston Town House Hotel – right in the heart of Inverness. Main dishes include West Coast Langoustine, lightly smoked local Roe Deer fillet Scottish Halibut or Fillet of Black Isle Beef
How to Get Here :
By train - Come out of the railway station, go down Union Street (opposite the station) at the end of Union Street turn left on to Church Street and walk to the end (Olivers Coffe Shop) then turn down to your right so you are walking down to the river, once you get to the river follow it along to the left below the castle, the road will split into two, we are along the River on Ness Bank.
By plane - From Inverness Airport, follow the signs to Inverness. As you come into Inverness you will pass the 'Inverness Retail Park' on your left, go past there and you will come to a large round-about, take the second exit off this on to Millburn Road. Follow the road, past the Thistle Hotel on your right and on to a smaller round-about, take the second exit off and follow the road into the town centre. You will pass the 'Eastgate Shopping Centre'on your left, carry on down Academy Street until the last set of traffic lights you can see. Turn left here, this road will take you down to the river, follow Bank Street and you will come to a set of traffic lights outside Jonny Foxes Pub, go straight on (dont cross the river)carry on and the road veers into two, take the right hand road by the river side, this is Ness Bank and we are 200 yards down here.
