Auld Kirk Hotel

The Auld Kirk Hotel, Ballater, was built in 1869. This fine former church has been tastefully converted, enabling retention of many of the original features, into a family-run hotel with restaurant. The imaginative menu offers well thought out dishes. The high ceilinged restaurant adds to the charm of this establishment.

Modern Scottish cooking with flair and imagination will certainly make your visit here well worthwhile.

Open all year except 25-27 Dec, closed Mon-Tue Nov

How to Get Here:

The Auld Kirk is prominently located on the A93 just a short walk from the centre of Ballater.

By car
When approaching from Aberdeen drive through the centre of the village following the signs for Braemar and we can be found about 250m from Station Square on the left hand side.

When travelling from Braemar the Auld Kirk is on the right just before you enter to village.

Parking is available for a limited number of guests on site, however there is plenty of street parking available with no time restrictions.
