City Merchant Restaurant
Warm and welcoming, the City Merchant is run by the Matteo family who have retained most of the original woodwork and introduced a Celtic theme. Quality seafood dominates the menu, however there is a good selection of meat and vegetarian dishes. The set lunch is particularly good value.

Seafood is carefully prepared and cooked by Chef Tracy Bogle who has the skill of adding interesting flavour combinations.

How to Get Here:
From the M8 motorway, exit at J15 (East or West). Signs will indicate A803, Cathedral, and Glasgow X. Turn right onto Castle Street which leads onto High Street and continue South. Cross over the Duke Street/George Street junction and at the 1st set of traffic lights, turn right onto Ingram Street, then turn 2nd left onto Candleriggs. We are half way down on the right hand side.
