Crinan Hotel

At the north end of the Crinan Canal, connecting Loch Fyne to the Atlantic Ocean, is the tiny picturesque fishing village of Crinan. For over 200 years the centre of this little community has been the Crinan Hotel. Today the Crinan Hotel is the perfect west coast haven in which to relax and dine on the best of Scottish seafood, local scallops, organic lamb from the Islands, Argyll venison ... and jumbo prawns, freshly landed at Crinan's pier just yards from the hotel.

Renowned for its world class seafood restaurant and skillful cooking of organic beef and lamb, The Crinan Hotel boasts an excellent wine list and regularly wins awards and top reviews for its outstanding cuisine.

How to Get Here:



DIRECTIONS FROM GLASGOW AIRPORT (2 hours drive)


Turn right at the end of the terminal building, and follow signs onto the M8 westbound, towards Erskine Bridge (M8)
Follow M8 over Erskine Bridge (toll) and at the end of the bridge, take the A82 for Crianlarich
Follow the A82 past Dumbarton and along Loch Lomond to Tarbet
At Tarbet bear left, taking the A83 through Arrochar towards Campbeltown o
At Inverary follow Campbeltown signs to Lochgilphead
At Lochgilphead follow the signs to A8 16 to Oban
After 2 miles take the left turn to Crinan through Cairnbaan on B841.
Follow all signs to Crinan




DIRECTIONS FROM EDINBURGH (3 hours drive)


From Edinburgh, take M8 westbound towards Glasgow
At Glasgow continue on M8, over Erskine Bridge
(Then - follow directions as above)
