Greenbrae is a 19th Century Farmhouse that has been extended and modernised to provide excellent visitor accommodation including wheelchair friendly ground floor rooms.

“We aim to grow as much of our food as possible in our garden. We have hens to give you eggs for breakfast Wherever possible we will source quality produce from llocal suppliers in Aberdeenshire and Scotland.For the visitor it means that we will use best Aberdeenshire beef, Scottish bacon, locally made black and white puddings and of course the best of Scottish porridge oats. Where food has to be obtained from abroad we will use only fair trade products where these are available. We support our local Veg in a Box scheme and locally sourced, straight from the fields vegetables in season are delivered to us every Friday. ”

Owner's Description : Jill and Mike are very keen bird watchers and passionate about environmental issues and improvements. They offers excellent guided bird watching tours. They also provide home cooked evening meals using local organic produce where possible.

How to Get Here :
By Road: From Aberdeen follow the A90 towards Peterhead. At the Toll of Birness turn left onto the A952 toward Fraserburgh. After Clola turn right towards Longside. Greenbrae Farmhouse is on the left after about 2 miles. From Peterhead. Leave Peterhead on the A950. You will come to Longside after 6 miles. Turn left at the Bruce Arms onto Inn Brae.... From Mintlaw. Leave Mintlaw by the A950 toward Peterhead. Longside is the next village. Turn right into Inn Brae at the Bruce Arms Hotel.....Turn 2nd right, opposite the Church of Scotland into Inverquhomery Road. Follow the road and you will find Greenbrae on the right about half a mile out of the village. By Train The nearest railway station is Aberdeen. By Air The nearest airport is Dyce just outside Aberdeen. Both Glasgow and Edinburgh airports are about three hours drive away.
