Originally the Laird's house of the Clan McKenzie, it was cleverly converted into a hotel 40 years ago but still retains all the original features, elegance and charm. The interior is furnished with antiques in keeping with the age of the house and open log fires burn in the hall, drawing room and bar encouraging one to sit and enjoy the comforts of a genuine country house.."

This homely 17th century country house makes a perfect setting to relax and enjoy Eliza Allen's 4 course meals. Typical menus comprise smoked haddock gratin, home-made soup and a choice of quality Scottish meat, fish or game. The well-made desserts are a particular treat, as indeed are the carefully selected cheeses!
